Just re-read Batwoman Elegy and man I just cannot get enough, I am head over heels for Kate Kane, the art of JH Williams has me speechless and I am completely engrossed in Rucka’s amazing script.

It is a great feeling, being able to enjoy this outstanding addition to the Bat family and witness this openly gay character’s significant impact on the DC universe.
Not only is she a huge new step for the LGBT community in media, she is the perfect example of a heroine. Kate Kane is extremely proficient in both combat, strategy and infiltration, she has spent many years training as a soldier and was top of her class, disciplined and strong willed, she has a passion to serve and do what is right.
Batwoman wears a uniform, not a costume and it is realistic to purpose. She doesn’t strut around in heels, or flaunt her tits, yet she retains her sexuality in a respectable and subtle way.
